Directive
from the Basel
ii Compliance Professionals Association (BCPA)
the largest Association
of Sarbanes Oxley professionals in the
world
Article 32
Transposition
Member States shall bring into force the laws,
regulations and administrative provisions necessary to comply with
this
Directive before 11 August 2004. They shall forthwith
inform
the Commission thereof.
Member States shall provide that the provisions
referred to in the first subparagraph shall first apply to the
supervision of accounts for the financial year beginning on 1
January 2005 or during that calendar year.
When Member States adopt these measures, they shall
contain a reference to this Directive or shall be accompanied by
such reference on the occasion of their official publication.
The
methods of making such reference shall be laid down by Member
States.
